It took about 1 1/2 months to train the boys. They are full of energy and handsome. They are very loving and Scout (red collar) likes to be a lap dog. He is a little heavy for that!

He is a sweet rambunctious boy! He likes drinking my lattes. He has been a joy and a bit of a challenge. He has come into his own and everyday is a party! We Love our boy!

We love our puppy so much. He is intelligent, and sweet. Elmwood Golden Irish comes very highly recommend. They are a down to earth, responsible breeder. Both parents are on site, and their pups are raised with love and care. Thank you so very much for Mr. Rusty. We couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our family.

Maggie’s the perfect blend of two good natured, good looking & very smart dog breeds. If anyone is looking for a couch potato, I wouldn’t recommend the breed. But for a family, with or without young children, who enjoys walking, running, hiking,… the Golden Irish is the perfect companion.
We drove out to Iowa four months ago so we could meet Maggie’s parents & the family who raised the pups. We were amazed at how clean & well tempered Duke, Daisy & all of the pups were. We also enjoyed meeting & visiting with your family.
Maggie loves everyone, especially young children. That tells me a lot about not only her bloodlines but also the influence your family had on her for the first 8 weeks of her life.
She’s extremely intelligent, loves to learn & she loves to please, so obedience training has been a pleasure.
She’s a huge part of my family’s life & we couldn’t have asked for a better pup.

Our Golden Irish, Monte, has been a delightful addition to our family. She has a very sweet playful personality. Our 3 daughters adore her. Our 4 -year old Golden Retriever, Chelsea, is so happy to have a friend to wrestle and chase around the house and the yard.

(Axle) is a very good dog. Thinks he is human. He gets to be a farm dog as well as a house dog. Lucky boy! He is great with young kids as well!
